AAHA-Accredited Animal Hospital Extends Superior Care & Customer Service to MI Pet Owners

A 2002 graduate from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Vincent pursued advanced training in the form of a small animal internship in medicine and surgery at the University of Illinois. She then returned to Michigan and spent 7 years working full-time at Waverly Animal Hospital, a very busy small animal clinic in Lansing. While there, she had extensive experience with dental procedures including x-rays and extractions and has become quite proficient and passionate about dental care. Her other passions in veterinary medicine include senior pet care, feline wellness, and internal medicine.Dr. Vincent was interested in the Marshall area because it is not too far from her hometown, Concord, and she has fond memories of coming to Marshall Feed & Grain for livestock feed for the "farm" she grew up on. Raising pigs, sheep, rabbits, and a pony for 4-H gave her a strong background with animals from an early age. She has since ended up in small animal practice with cats and dogs as her primary focus. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, gardening, reading, and baking. Her zoo at home consists of 5 cats and a rescued pitbull mix, "Eva."

Amanda joined the Log Cabin team in February of 2010 as a licensed veterinary technician after graduating from Baker College in Jackson. Her pets at home are a very sweet cross-eyed Siamese mix named "Spud", and a crazy "chuggle" named Zoltan.

Taylor was excited to join the Log Cabin team after graduating from the veterinary technician program at Baker College in Jackson in June of 2016. She lives in Jackson with her pet family of 3 dogs: Mazie, Gemma, and Oakley and 2 cats: Milo and Elly.

Lori joined Log Cabin Animal in September of 2004. She brings with her many years of customer service experience. She truly loves interacting and getting to know clients as if they are family and sharing special moments with them. It is a pleasure to work with such caring and compassionate doctors and staff. At home, she has a Lab mix named Ellie and a Catahoula Lab mix named Cyd. In her spare time she enjoys boating, the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Carley is a vet assistant that lives with her 5 kitties and her dog, Juno. In her free time Carley enjoys hiking and exploring the many nature trails that stretch across Michigan. She also enjoys bottle feeding baby kittens for one of the local rescues.

Kailie joined the Log Cabin team in May 2021 as an assistant. She is going to Colby Community College to become a Veterinary Technician. At home she has a Lab named Lila, and a dachshund named Jaxon. She is excited to be apart of the Log Cabin team.

Growing up, Brin was always doing something animal or plant related with her mother. Whether it was helping her raise pheasants in a rehabilitation center, or raising butterflies in the butterfly house at the Toledo Zoo, or simply just hanging out on her grandparents farm. She always wanted to be outside and with the animals. She has four dogs at home, a husky named “Appa”, an Aussie/blue heeler mix named “Raven (daughter of darkness)”, a chihuahua mix named “Jaxson Sparrow” & a silky terrier named “Rory”. She loves doing volunteer work with ALL SPECIES KINSHIP and Brin is currently enrolled at KCC to finish her vet assistant program and plans to go on to Penn Foster to complete her vet tech program.

Joe joined the Log Cabin team in 2010 as a part time Mr Fix-It and has increased his contributions to helping manage day to day operation. He has several cats and a dog at home. He has always wanted a Beagle and thoroughly enjoys getting to see them when they come in to Log Cabin.
